You can activate Yell Messaging using the Yell for Business app. To download the app, please visit this link.


Once you have logged in to the app:


1. Once you log into the app, you will see the activation splash screen below. Once the screen is closed/dismissed,     then you can access the Messages tab within the app. 

2. Select a realistic target response time for your messages (Response time can only be set for Apple users)

3. Review the terms & conditions and tap the tick box to confirm, then tap Submit & Finish

4. To receive a notification when you are messaged, tap Enable Notifications and make sure notifications for the app are enabled in your device settings

5. Your Yell Messaging service will show as pending. It can take up to 1 week to activate but can take longer during busy periods

6. You will receive a notification once verification has been completed. Tap Done

7. When you receive a new message, it will appear in your Messages inbox. Tap on the message to open the full  conversation

8. You will notice that chatbot Hartley has immediately responded to the enquiry, collecting the name of the potential customer and passing their enquiry to you. Respond by tapping on New Message
