When requesting reviews, can I control whether a review is posted on Yell or as a 1st party review?

When a Reputation Manager customer uses our Review request feature (available both on web and the Yell for Business app) to request reviews, the end-user receiving the request will be prompted to submit a review which will be published either on Yell or on your company website (commonly referred to as a 1st party review and requires the Reviews widget to be implemented on your company website).

If you do not wish to generate 1st party reviews, then you can switch this feature off which will result in all reviews being submitted to Yell. To switch off 1st party review generation, log into your account, click Access your Reputation Manager dashboard and following the steps below:

Click on the Profile tab in the top navigation and select Notification settings from the left-hand menu.
Navigate to the First party reviews section towards the bottom of the page
Select whether you want to generate 1st party reviews and click Save

Important

Any reviews that have already been submitted as 1st party reviews cannot be transferred over to Yell.

What is Google user photos and what can I do on this page?

This feature allows Reputation Manager customers to view user generated photos for their Google listings.

As well as viewing photos, customers also can flag any images as inappropriate which will send a trigger to Google to investigate.

You can access this feature via your online account by clicking Social posts on the top navigation and selecting Google user photos.

To update the content on your Reputation Manager product:

Log in to your Yell online account
Select Access your Reputation Manager dashboard
If you have purchased Reputation Manager for multiple business listings, then you will be prompted to select which listing to edit
Select from the Reputation overview page the content you wish to update
