When a Reputation Manager customer uses our Review request feature (available both on web and the Yell for Business app) to request reviews, the end-user receiving the request will be prompted to submit a review which will be published either on Yell or on your company website (commonly referred to as a 1st party review and requires the Reviews widget to be implemented on your company website). 

If you do not wish to generate 1st party reviews, then you can switch this feature off which will result in all reviews being submitted to Yell. To switch off 1st party review generation, log into your account, click Access your Reputation Manager dashboard and following the steps below: 

  • Click on the Profile tab in the top navigation and select Notification settings from the left-hand menu.
  • Navigate to the First party reviews section towards the bottom of the page 
  • Select whether you want to generate 1st party reviews and click Save

Important

Any reviews that have already been submitted as 1st party reviews cannot be transferred over to Yell.
