Which websites are being retired?

Whilst we’ve kept our multi-site packages running for as long as we could, we’ve made the difficult decision to retire these packages as it is no longer commercially viable for us to continue supporting them.


What does that mean for me?

By the 22nd September 2025, Yell will no longer be supporting your websites. But your websites are hosted directly on Wix and it is quick and straightforward to transfer the websites you want to keep.

Alternatively, you may cancel some or all of these websites if you wish.


Can I transfer my websites earlier than 22nd September?

Unfortunately, this will not be possible. The transfer will take place on the specific date in your email.


I do not want to transfer all my websites – what do I do?

We would recommend that you accept the invites and take ownership of all of your websites. 

Please be aware that any remaining websites will be deleted and will not be recoverable if you decide not to accept the invites. 


Can I cancel now or do I need to provide 14 days notice?

Yes, if you wish to cancel please contact our Moonfruit helpline on 0800 777 427.


Can the period be extended beyond 22nd September?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. In order to support your transfer activity, we have provided more than the contractually required amount of notice. We cannot extend this notice period further.


Will I be refunded for months that are left to run on my annual payment?

Yes, you will automatically get a pro-rata refund of any payment made to us. This will be in direct correlation to the termination date and the period for which you have already paid.


How will my refund be paid?

We will pay the refund to the payment card you used for the current subscription was payment. 


What happens to my websites if they are transferred to me?

Your websites will automatically transfer to a Wix Free Plan. Please note that a Wix Free Plan will not publish your domain. To enable your site to work on its domain, you must purchase a Wix paid plan.


You can do this after you have accepted the invite link to move your websites into your own Wix account.

How do I upgrade to a Wix plan?

On the date specified in your notification email your site will be unpublished and you will receive an email from Wix with a link to reinstate your site on their platform.

If you wish to retain your website(s) you will need to click on the links and sign up with Wix on one of their paid plans.

Please note that this will require payment card details.


My website has gone down, what do I do?

You will have received an email from Wix with an invite to accept the transfer of your website into your own Wix account. Please click on the link in the email to accept the transfer.

Can I transfer my site to another provider?

Your only option is to transfer the site directly to Wix.


Can I get access to my site(s) content and data?

Yes. You will receive an email from Wix with an invite link to accept the transfer of the site into your own Wix account. At this point you will become the owner of the site.


Can I use this content to build my site(s) on another platform?

Yes. Once you have access to your site you can access the content and rebuild the site in any platform of your choice.

How do I transfer the domain?

Your domain is not affected by this transfer and will continue to work.


Can I cancel my website and keep my domains?

Your domains are not managed or owned by Yell.


How do I find out who hosts my domains? What about my emails?

If you originally sourced your domains via Moonfruit your domain provider will be NamesCo. 

If you sourced your domain from a third party, you can find out who your domain name is registered with by visiting www.who.is and type your domain name (website address) into the form to find the details.
