This article shows how to repoint your third-party domain (website URL) that is hosted with Fast Host.

 

STEP ONE

Visit the login page, click ‘Login’ and then ‘Control Panel Login’





Ask the customer to login with their details.

 

STEP TWO

At the left-hand side, under ‘Hosting & Domains’, click ‘Domain Names’



STEP THREE

You should see the domain names displayed – at the right-hand side of the one needed, click ‘DNS’



STEP FOUR

Find the ‘A Records’ section, click ‘Edit’ and update the records to match the below:


 

 

Host Name: Leave blank

Points To: 185.230.63.171






Click ‘Save’

 

STEP FIVE

Find the ‘CNAME’ records section, click ‘Edit’ and update the records to match the below:

 

Host Name: www

Points To:    pointing.wixdns.net





Click ‘Save’

 

If either of the above records do not exist, you can use the ‘Add’ feature above the required record. Please ensure they match the below:

 

A Record:

Host Name: Leave blank

Points to: 185.230.63.171

 

CNAME Record:

Host Name: www

Points to: pointing.wixdns.net
