This article shows how to repoint your third-party domain (website URL) that is hosted with Names. 

 

Step One

Visit the login page, click ‘Control Panel’ and enter your login details. 


Step Two

Scroll down and click ‘DNS Settings’

  

Step Three

Tick the box to activate the DNS panel if it appears and click ‘Save’. Please note: You won't always be asked to do this.

 

Step Four

Identify the record for:
Hostname: (Blank)
Type: A

Update the records to match the below: 

 

Host name:   

Type: A                               

Result: 185.230.63.171

  

Step Five 

Identify the record for:
Hostname: www
Type: CNAME 

Update the records to match the below: 

 

Host name: www

Type: CNAME                               

Result: gcdn0.wixdns.net  

 

After updating all the records, scroll down and click ‘Save’

If either of the above records do not exist, use the Add feature. Please ensure they match the below if adding:

                                                                         A                                    185.230.63.171
