This article shows how to repoint a third-party domain (website URL) that is hosted with 123Reg.

STEP ONE

Visit the login page, click ‘Log in’ and ask the customer to enter their details.

STEP TWO

In the list of icons available, click ‘Manage Domain Names.’

STEP THREE

Select the domain you wish to manage from the drop-down list and click, ‘Manage Now’.

STEP FOUR

In the ‘Manage Domain’ menu, select ‘DNS Management’.

STEP FIVE

Identify the record for:

Subdomain: (Blank)

Type: A

Click in to edit the ‘address’ with 185.230.63.171 and then click ‘Update DNS’.

STEP SIX

Find the record with a www subdomain, in the top CNAME section.

Click in to edit the record (under CNAME) with pointing.wixdns.net and then click ‘Update

DNS’.

If either of the above records do not exist, you can use the Add feature:
